“Escape”
The year 2020 was challenging for many of us. The ongoing pandemic, school closures, lost jobs, social isolation, raging wildfires and hotly contested elections were stress and anxiety inducing. As we continue to face uncertain times, we chose the the theme “Escape” for the 2021 Conference Virtual Fiber Art Exhibit. We asked our entrants to submit an expression in fiber of where they go or what they do to escape these difficult times. Entries were not restricted to a literal interpretation of the theme but may be more abstract in their approach.
